2009 Mix

My "top tracks" ballot for P&J looked like this:

There's a combination of monster chart hits, and singles/tracks by bands whose work I felt like representing. And yeah, I really liked Lady Gaga and David Guetta's work this year.

In that vein, I made a "2009 Mix" but didn't particularly attempt to keep it to singles only, and didn't feel bound to include the same tracks and artists as the P&J list. It's a "what I was listening to in 2009 Mix". First and foremost, it's a collection of styles/genres that soundtracked my 2009, and secondly a representation of notable artists and their "hits". The mix is fairly unadorned, I was looking to have the tracks gently melt into each other, without much in the way of editing/effects. It's one take, with mistakes left in (although I won't say what I think the mistakes are!)
